Sify news reports on claims made by women arrested at the G20 summit protests in Toronto, that police made sexually charged remarks to them during their time at a detention centre.
In particular, journalist Amy Miller alleges that she was told she would be repeatedly raped, to ensure she did not partcipate in such activities again.
The women's allegations were filmed and footage was released at a media conference in the city.
This appears to be another depressing example of how people in authority are often far too willing to use gender and sexual violence to keep people under control.
