UK Catholic Women's Ordination (CWO) has joined forces with London Transport, as 10 buses from August 30th to September 30th will carry slogans which read 'Pope Benedict Ordain Women Now'.
The campaign will co-incide with the Pope's visit to London in September, and the buses will run in the specific areas that the Pope is scheduled to visit; Westminster Cathedral and Westminster Hall.
CWO has paid £10,000 for the slogans to be advertised and hope to be able to chat to the Pope during his visit.
Member Pat Brown said, "We love the church and don't want to be disruptive. We are trying to get support and would love to have five minutes with the pope. We are very concerned about what is going on in the church at the moment."
During the papal visit, CW0 has organised a press conference and hope to have their opinions heard.
